The Texas Time Trials is an annual series of bicycle races against the clock, ridden on a challenging and scenic 20 mile looped course in the heart of north Texas.
TTTT is actually four events in one:
Texan Jim Demming hammering on the TTTT course in 2004.
The staggered start times make for an exciting event injecting new riders onto the course at 6 or 12 hour intervals, and helps
to keep riders on the course fired-up. Different colored ribbons identify riders in different races. All races will end at approximately
the same time and are followed by the Awards Ceremony. Last year, the Awards Ceremony was a fun place to meet other riders, eat,
reminisce and receive awards. With riders from 13 states and one other country, the awards ceremony was also an unbelievable reunion.
If 500 miles sounds too challenging, consider doing 500 miles with a 4-person team. Each rider does three 20-mile laps a day for two
days, and each team member earns a trophy!
The Texas Time Trials is a fun filled ride that brings RAAM legends, randonneurs, and racers together, celebrating our ability to ride.
This is a great event for the seasoned racer or someone wanting to try their first ultra race.
