While you are working on your goals, please include The Texas Ultra Cup Race Series Challenge. There is no entry fee, no sign up and everyone who enters three races receives a TUC trophy.
We have formed this race series in an attempt to make Ultra racing more fun, more competitive, add another Award to your Trophy case, entice you to do more than one Ultra event a year, urge you to travel this great state we call Texas, allow you to bond with fellow like minded riders and to help grow the sport. We feel The Texas Ultra Cup Challenge has the ability to do all this and more. By teaming up with your comrades, sharing travel expenses and crew, maybe even a tent, we hope that friendships will be formed, memories created and a new high in Ultra riding achieved. Knowing that the team next to you will most likely be at the next race in the series should create more camaraderie.
These Texas Ultra Cup Results will become FINAL on Friday, September 30, 2016. Please let us know if you have any changes before then by emailing Dan Driscoll.

Each solo rider, team-mate, tandem captain and stoker that registers in at least three races regardless of total miles, will earn a custom Award, suitable of their accomplishment. There will be 4 different divisions, a 6 hour, 12 hour, 24 hour, and an “Open Division” for those that may want to do different length races and/or do the Tejas 500. The 6, 12 and 24 hour divisions take the best three races to calculate the total miles. The Open division will include all miles from all the races you enter. Within each division will be categories for male and female solos, all male, all female or mixed teams.
The person or team with the most miles, after the last race, in each division and category will be awarded first place overall. This may be much easier than you think, with 4 different divisions and all of the different combinations of categories within each division there could be almost 100 First place Awards.
There is no entry fee and no registration paper work required to enter The Texas Ultra Cup Challenge. The results from the first race will be given to the second race director and so on. Race directors will pay for all Awards. Awards will be presented at The Texas Time Trials Awards Bash only. Awards will not be mailed and there will be no duplication of awards; one per person.
Think about it. This could be an Epic adventure that will be talked about for decades, DD.Complete TUC Rules
